OptiPlus Control System
Our OptiPlus Control System is a powerful and accurate way to maximise value recovery from each and every stem.
A touch screen panel PC mounted inside the cab of your base machine controls the harvester head and will continuously assess the diameter of the stem to determine the optimal grade and length to cut. Operators can manage the cutting instruction to deliver the gradesand lengths desired, view production and generate reports to track productivity.
OptiPlus is easy to use– no specialist IT knowledge, awkward keyboards or mouse pads are required. This control system is manufactured right here in New Zealand and is designed specifically to enhance the performance of Woodsman Pro harvesting heads.
It can run with, or without, StanForD based cutting files and features a detailed fault diagnostic system to minimize downtime.
Loggic Control System
Our new Loggic Control System combines the best features of OptiPlus with multiple new innovations to deliver an outstanding optimization solution.
It’s been designed specifically to make life easier for operators when using Woodsman Pro harvesting heads.
Loggic’s new predictive-optimizer provides faster, more valuable, and more accurate bucking solutions, capable of measuring diameters to within 5mm. Loggic can even optimize the remaining stem section after a topping-saw cut.
Navigating Loggic’s interface is simple and intuitive using a touch screen panel PC mounted inside the cab of your base machine. Managing your cutting instruction has never been easier. No specialist IT knowledge or skills are required by the operator.
Downloading reports from your harvester is also very straight-forward. Just plug in your USB (which Loggic will automatically save against your profile for future use) and hit a single button – no need to search through the control system to find the files you’re looking to export.
But the key productivity and safety advantages lie in Loggic’s new technology and operating methods.
Loggic reduces processing cycle time and features semi-automatic processing. A ‘dead man’s switch’ style input brings improved safety to the work site, providing full control of the stem at all times. The bucking experience can be customised to suit an operator’s style and assist with difficult techniques such as drop-cutting.
Digital calipers allow for easy quality-control and harvester calibration, giving you peace of mind that your machines areupholding the highest standards of length and diameter accuracy, and producing evidence in reports that can be sent to the forest manager.
While Loggic delivers many unparalleled advantages, we are continuing R&D to deliver even more benefits in future including reverse bucking to help guarantee maximum value recovery. Watch this space!
