Our design engineers have been working on some game-changing design enhancements that will reduce both your costs and downtime.
First up we are excited to announce the launch of our new single bolt in delimb knife insert system. This system uses knife insert tensioners which force the knife insert onto the delimb arm. The single bolt locks the tensioners keeping the insert tight. This unique design is a world first (NZ provisional patent application no. 742153) which is much simpler, faster and more economical than the welding onsite option, or removing and replacing the delimb arm with an exchange arm. The new knife inserts are available on all new Woodsman Pro 850s or you can upgrade your existing head. The inserts will be available
on 750 models in 2019.
We have also upgraded to replaceable bolt-in wear belly plates. When the belly plates wear down they can now be easily replaced, with no onsite welding repairs or hard-facing.
In addition, we have redesigned our knuckle and top section. The new design allows for greater swing arc, easier loading on to transporters and much improved grease point access.
